Remotely Piloted Aircraft Technology (RPAT)

Description

The online RPAT course is designed to give students exposure to drone technology and opportunity, preparing them to conduct safe remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) flights within shared airspace. Tachnology behind drone flight, including aerodynamics, aerostructures, propulsion systems, communication and payloads are presented in addition to a structured method of conducting risk assessment and managing flight requests and approvals.

Students who successfully complete the RPAT program will receive:

A Remotely Piloted Aircraft Technology (RPAT) Certificate issued by Virginia Tech

You should now see this page, and are free to begin the course. Please remember that you have 3 weeks to complete the course before your enrollment expires.
